The Wichita Falls office has a variety of foster families that work with children that have primary medical needs, and developmental issues, as well as foster families that are therapeutic in nature. Our Wichita Falls office is also working with families that are looking to adopt children, as well as those that have taken in family members.
AWFC is very excited to be partnering with the local community and the many professionals who currently provide services to foster children in need. The Wichita Falls community is very supportive to AWFC and our children. They will help us provide the most fun, loving, caring and therapeutic homes to our children.

Ashley Almanza is the Area Director for the Wichita Falls office. She is a Midwestern State University graduate. Ashley is a proud Wichita Falls resident, and she has served the community in many capacities over the years. Her work within the foster care system began while in college when she worked as an intern, and it continues on through her work today. Ashley started her career with A World For Children in 2017 as a case manager, and she was promoted to the Area Director role in 2020. Ashley is very passionate about finding safe homes for the abused and neglected children of her community and helping to equip them for their journey through foster care. Ashley is also honored to serve in her favorite role as a proud mother to her four beautiful children.
