Burleson

In 2018, A World For Children opened its fourteenth office in the State, the Burleson Office.  The Burleson office was born out of the growth in our Dallas office. The administrative team began to realize that our Dallas office serving families all over the DFW metroplex and made the decision to start a new office to better support families in the region. The Burleson office serves a large area including Tarrant, Johnson, and surrounding counties in the DFPS Region 3B. We have developed a stellar reputation with Child Protective Services and Residential Child Care Licensing of providing high quality services to our children and families in North Texas.

Our Burleson office has also made efforts above and beyond to participate in the new community based care program, Our Community, Our Kids. With the implementation of OCOK, A World For Children has been able to identify and provide more resources to families, as well as, increase the number of sibling group placements!

The Burleson office has a variety of families specializing in therapeutic care, primary medical needs, developmental issues, and teens. The Burleson team works to provide our families with quality training to enhance their skills. We are proud to have the only primary medical needs conferences in the State, providing cutting edge training and support to families who wish to serve children with primary medical needs, pervasive development disorders, and mental retardation.

Fort Worth is the three-time “All American City” and is known for the Stockyards and a great place to raise a family. The Burleson area is home to one of the two of the best children’s hospitals in the State and the area is rich with resources for foster and adoptive parents.
