Forest Creek Elementary Adopts AWFC Children
The children and families of Forest Creek Elementary School in Round Rock ISD made Christmas come alive with an abundance of gifts for each of the children-in-care. Roxanne Hill, Nancy Maxwell and Laurie Muder spearheaded an effort to organize gift donations from the Forest Creek Elementary families to create a memorable Christmas for this very special group of children. The families responded with over 100 gifts for children in foster care. In addition, through donations, Forest Creek provided children in care of the AWFC Emergency Shelter/Assessment Center a gift-making party, Christmas gifts, and delicious foods. A SPECIAL THANKS TO - Nyle Maxwell for being Santa's stand-in.
Besides the Christmas effort, the Forest Creek families have showered the AWFC Shelter with items from the shelter's wish list.
