Meet the San Antonio Management Team
Sarah Vasquez – Regional Director
Sarah Vasquez has been with A World For Children since 2011. She began as a case manager and held that position for 5 years, and, in 2016, was promoted to the Regional Director of the San Antonio and Victoria areas. She graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2010 with bachelors degree in Sociology. Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband as they enjoy traveling and spending time near local lakes/rivers. Sarah is family oriented and enjoys spending available time with her close family and friends. She is passionate about making a different for the children in foster care.
Belinda Cornejo – Clinical Director
Belinda Cornejo came to A World For Children with over 20 years experience in the child welfare community. After graduating, she worked with CPS for approximately ten years, gaining experience in investigations, substitute care, recruiting foster/adoptive families and the training institute. Following that, she was offered the opportunity to work with children, who were survivors of sex and human trafficking, through Office of Refugee and Resettlement and with children crossing the border without a legal parent. She has also gained valuable experience and knowledge with other child placing agencies in clinical supervisor and adoption/post-adoption positions.
Belinda is the oldest of four siblings, which gave her the opportunity to act as a parent to her younger siblings. She has a unique background, which helped shape her passion to help the population of vulnerable children. Belinda’s family migrated from Monterrey, Mexico when she was five in hopes of finding and providing their children a better future. They were able to do so and Belinda, in turn, found that she wanted to help others. Belinda loves every opportunity given to me help and impact a child’s life. She is married and was blessed with a beautiful son and daughter (fraternal twins)..
