Kimberly graduated in 1998 from Southwest Texas State University where she majored in social work with a focus on child welfare. After an internship with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, she continued on with the Department in Williamson County for several years. While there, she did Family Preservation, CVS, and Investigations. After leaving the Department, Kimberly worked at a residential treatment center and then as a counselor at a charter school. Kimberly continues to focus her passion on the foster children in Texas, and strives to not just do foster care, but create a healing environment for all foster children in Texas. Kimberly believes that with faith and prayer, all things are possible. |
