Paul R. Willis, Ph. D. is President of AWFC. Having served as a superintendent of schools, principal, counselor and teacher prepared Dr. Willis to meet the challenges of administering the business of AWFC. Most of the staff refer to Paul as Papa Paul because he serves as head of our AWFC family. The “waters” of foster care have been turbulent the past few years from a business perspective with many financial challenges. With Paul’s steady hand and a good business plan, AWFC has weathered the storm and is fiscally strong. According to Paul, " Every child has the right to grow and mature into adulthood in a safe, loving, and nurturing evnivorment. AWFC is dedicated to providing the very best care to hurting children and young people. In order to provide these services, God has allowed us to assemble a staff and group of foster parents second to none. They have demonstrated a love and respect for children and each other that allows them to redirect the lives of the youth that we serve in a direction that allows each child to develop to the maximum of their ability. That is why we truthfully and proudly proclaim" THANK GOD-- we really are changing the world one child at a time."

Sharon D. Willis, Ed. D. is the Administrator of AWFC. Coming from an education background, Sharon brings experience in administration, counseling, special education and teaching. At AWFC we all call Sharon the QUEEN (and she really is). The title is so appropriate because she is so deeply involved in every life associated with our extended family. She can call all staff members by name and knows almost every foster parent by sight and name as well as many of the children. Her commitment and dedication to "her" family knows no bounds. She spends virtually every night of her life writing cards of encouragement to those that she knows needs someone's shoulder to lean on and we all know where that shoulder is hers. Her enthusiasm shines into every corner of all of our lives and the sparkle in her eyes lights a fire in all of us to get the job done to make A World for Children the very best because she sincerely believes we are really, really changing the world one child at a time.

Rebecca Allen, LMSW-ACP is the Statewide Program Director of AWFC. Rebecca is our 24 carat social worker who is responsible for the AWFC foster care program across the State. As a licensed master social worker with 20+ years of experience, Rebecca not only has impeccable credentials, she models and demands quality services. She oversees all 10 offices ensuring AWFC staff and families follow licensing standards, contract standards and good practices. Through the steady hand of Rebecca, A World For Children’s reputation remains “sterling” across the state.
