Offers a large variety of topics for training that may be appropriate for foster parents.  These trainings are not specifically focused on working with foster children, but may provide valuable information on a number of issues.

Foster parents who have attended trainings recommend the agency.  Individual trainings may range from okay to excellent, depending upon the topic and the specific speaker.

This children’s home provides regularly scheduled training for their house parents.  They welcome the participation of our foster parents in most training.

Catholic Charities provides training for PRS Foster Parents in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.  They provide numerous trainings in a variety of locations.  The AWFC regional office receives a copy of their training schedule each month.  Trainings cost $5.00 for private agency foster parents
